I'm pretty sure any girl can relate with the next post I going to write.  So theres a guy, and you've given him chances before, but now you wonder, have my feelings changed? You may have not liked him at first, (or liked him and had given up because he thinks of you just as a friend), but how do you know? You have to take a chance, a leap of faith.  Now I am not usually the one giving this advice, but i'm trying to believe that second chances do work, and that with a little bit of faith, you will find some good. Wish me luck on my next chance, who knows, yours might be coming along soon! st- xx

worst enemy

Public enemy number ONE. To myself. Over thinking is my downfall. I dont know how to be any different, or how to think of anything differently, but I know my current mindset is doing me no good, thats for sure.  Faith, its what I must somehow obtain, I guess.  To give, to get. How little? How much? Help?

Ahh, made it to the end of a busy day.  Aside from enjoying too much cake at my best friends birthday celebration last night (it was homemade how could I refuse?), and maybe a biiit too much wine, today should have been a recovery day.  Instead it was spent in my regular, normality ridden schedule.  Going to the gym (sigh), out to lunch, only to come home to accounting journal entries and balance sheets to prepare. life. of. a. university. student.

Countdown to winter break  37 days

being stood up.

How annoying. You take time out of your life to make time for another, for man or women, and they dont respect you enough, or value you enough as a human being to show.  My life is as important  as yours, even though you dont seem to think so.  Simply being at a "better" school than one, does NOT mean you will be more successful, or feel so entitled. Sad when friends show their true colours, if they even were friends to begin with, will remain a mystery now.

John Mayer.  Honestly to me, he is the artist of our times. With songs ranging from the brightest pinnacles of life to the deepest, darkest, he speaks to the everyday person.  After recently downloading every single album, I realize the undiscovered songs that have not become popular, are some of the top quality songs of the decade.  One that truly speaks to me is "Great Indoors" from his first album Room for Squares. It speaks of monotony, and escaping the everyday race we tend to amble into as we become older, and more fixed in our ways.  "Check your pulse its proof that your not listening to the call your life has been issuing you, the rhythm of a line of idle days, of idle days". Everyone must follow their utmost passion in life, as it will be the only fulfillment, nothing half can ever suffice.  I love music that makes me think and feel, and that his does.  I could go on and on, but I will simply let you experience for yourself, and let me know how it makes you think or feel.  st - xx
